** Gawura is a Campus of St Andrew's Cathedral School located in the heart of Sydney. The Campus, a "school within a school" caters for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Campus has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy outcomes within a culturally sensitive environment. The children progress to St Andrew's Secondary School on completion of Year 6.

The children will be performing a traditional Pipi dance, accompanied by Year 10 student, Ivor Rigney-Sebastian on the didgeridoo.  Gawura students represent many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations. This version of the Pipi dance celebrates the Ngarrinjeri Nation from South Australia. The girls are using their feet to hunt at low tide for cockle shelss or pipis in the sand. They celebrate their findings by hitting clap sticks together. Animals and hunters are on the beach with the girls.
