Sarah Lloyd
Sarah Lloyd is the ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Director for Resolution and is based in London. Formed over 25 years ago, Resolution is an association of around 5,000 Family Lawyers in England and Wales all of whom sign up to a conciliatory code of practice when they join.
Sarah is a qualified English solicitor who started off her legal career in shipping law. Heavily influenced by the work of Resolution lawyers she moved into family law in the early 1990s and trained as a family mediator in 1997.
She works on a consultancy basis as a family mediator for a firm of solicitors in South West London and is a trained but non practising collaborative lawyer. She is a member of IACP. She is actively involved in promoting all forms of alternative dispute resolution in family matters in England and Wales. Since 2004 she has taken on the responsibility for the growth and the regulation of the collaborative movement in addition to mediation within Resolution. The organisation is committed to promoting all forms of dispute resolution to ensure that clients have information about all options available to them and can make informed choices.
Recently she has been involved in managing the Resolution sponsored collaborative research project.
